This British car manufacturing company was established in 1904 by Charles Stewart Rolls and Sir Frederick Henry Royce. From that moment on, they have had a reputation for offering peerless cars to the automobile manufacturing industry.

10 Rolls Royce model that is still the at top of their game

The engineering of Rolls Royce cars is first class and has been awarded the “Best Car in the World” award. Rolls Royce doesn’t only make cars. The company touched the sky when they ventured into the production of aircraft engines and much of it was applauded by people worldwide.

The worldwide market is always demanding the best car brand. And some of the incredible names that come up in the list of the top models of all time are Rolls Royce Corniche, Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit and Rolls Royce Camargue and the rest are undermentioned. 

1. Rolls Royce Phantom I

Also known as the Phantom 40/50. This is the replacement model for Silver Ghost. The first Phantom built was in 1925. 2,269 Phantom was produced in the UK. 1,240 additional vehicles in this line were produced for the United States. It is a 4-door sedan with a 468cc I6 engine. Customers can choose from a 3- or 4-speed manual transmission.

2. Rolls Royce Silver Wraith –

The first car was produced by Rolls Royce after World War I. Silver Wraith comes with three engine versions including 4.3, 4.6 and L I6. 

Early versions had a 127-inch wheelbase chassis based on the design of the pre-war Wraiths. 

The upgraded engine consists of a new cylinder head with side exhaust valves and an overhead intake valve with a power of 4,257cc. This car caught eyes all over the world when it appeared in the Batman Returns’ movie.

3. Rolls Royce Twenty –

Rolls Royce Twenty was first made in 1922 and the production continued until 1929. Only 2,940 Rolls Royce Twenty were produced. The Rolls Royce Twenty comes with a 3.1-litre I6 engine and options of 3- or 4-speed manual transmission. The maximum speed the Rolls Royce Twenty can reach was 60 miles per hour, almost comparable to the airspeed of the 1920s.

4. Rolls Royce Corniche –

The first model appeared in 1971, and the final edition came in 1995. This model was designed in two-door coupe, and two-door convertible styles being one of the elegant Rolls Royce models. 

The Corniche was assembled in London, England with the design taken from the Silver Shadow Series. This same car was also featured as a version of Bentley and this breed started to be known as the Continental in 1984. 

The Corniche is a powerful car that came packed with a 6.75 litre L410 LHV V8 engine and a three-speed automatic transmission. The mileage is amazingly 118 miles per hour.

5. Rolls Royce Hyperion 2007

This car was made for Roland Hall, a collector who loves the Phantom Drophead Coupé. Pininfarina designed this popular and graceful Rolls Royce model, and it debuted in 2008 at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. It was made available to the market in 2009 for £4 million.

6. Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe

Made its debut at the International North American Exhibition Detroit. This model is a 2-door convertible of four seats with a robust interior that is created by a decorative minimalist art design. 

The door is designed in a twisted tone with a posterior opening style and separates the bottom-up from the top. This is one of the most expensive cars and it was auctioned for $2 million in the Naples Florida Winter Wine Festival Charity 2007. 

The platform of this vehicle takes inspiration from Rolls Royce Phantom 2003 and the style of 100 ex-concept cars that was celebrated in Rolls Royce Company centennial celebration back in 2004.

7. Rolls Royce Phantom III

First launched as a replacement for the Phantom II in 1936. Production was limited to 727 stylish Rolls Royce models. Phantom III is equipped with a powerful 7338cc V12 engine with a 4-speed manual transmission. 

This model was the only Rolls Royce motor car to come equipped with a V12 engine until the appearance of the Silver Seraph in 1998. It can reach speeds of 87.5 miles per hour.

8. Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit

Produced in 1974, assembled in Cheshire, England. Although the first model was produced in 1980. The line was in production until 1999 with an impressive 19-year span for the model. The Silver Spirit is one of the top Rolls Royce models of all time. It comes with a full-size luxury four-door sedan. 

9. Rolls Royce Camargue –

The first versions were produced in 1975. It features a two-door sedan styling look inspired by the Silver Shadow as well as the Corniche and Bentley T series. The excellent specification consists of a 6.75 litre Rolls Royce V8 engine (412 CID) with a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission.

 This was the first post-war Rolls Royce that wasn’t an in-house designed car. This vehicle featured a two-stage automatic air conditioning system, which was technically advanced in automotive engineering. 

The design of the system took 8 years to finish. Rack and pinion power steering are also included, along with ear independent suspension found in the Silver Spirit. 

Production of this model was discontinued in 1986 with only 531 copies. This model is one of the most honored Rolls Royce models ever made.

10. Rolls Royce Silver Seraph –

It was unveiled to the world at the 1998 Geneva Motor Show. Silver Seraph’s development started in the late 1980s from an early concept. Production officially started in the fall of 1990. 

Even though the total process took 10 years, the early versions ended production in the spring of 1998. This model comes with a 5-speed auto transmission and a 5.4-litre aluminum BMW M73V12 motor. 

This was the first Rolls-Royce model with a 12-cylinder engine since the Phantom III of 1939. The interior has been updated with Connolly leather upholstery and trims on the dashboard. 

Also, a folding picnic tray for rear passengers was added using walnut veneer. This car received high scores for its pleasant and smooth handling. The Silver Seraph can reach a top speed of 140 miles per hour. This model was limited to a total of 1,570 pieces before production ended in 2002.
