Some 2023 and 2024 Spectres were recalled for a fault in the integrated brake unit, which can bring a brake warning and a harder pedal. Check the recall with your dealer. We inspect pads, discs and fluid for other causes.

At close to three tonnes, with instant electric torque and large 23-inch wheels, tyre condition is worth watching closely. Uneven wear, vibration at speed or a pull to one side are signs that need checking. We inspect tyre condition, pressures and wheel alignment.

The Spectre rides on air springs and adaptive dampers as part of its Planar suspension. A leaking spring or failing damper shows as one corner sitting low, a warning message, or a harsher ride. We test each part.

Because the Spectre is a heavy vehicle, suspension components and tyre condition are worth checking if you notice a knock or creak over Dubai's speed bumps, or a loose feel in the steering. We inspect the relevant bushes, joints and surrounding components before recommending repair.

Like other electric cars, the Spectre still uses a 12V battery to power its computers and locks. If it weakens, you may see battery warnings or the car may not wake up. We test the battery and charging first.

In Dubai summers, the Spectre's climate system works hard to keep the cabin cool. Weak airflow, warm vents or a musty smell can point to a clogged cabin filter, a refrigerant leak or a fan fault.
