Most Mercedes owners come to us for one reason: they want dealership level work without dealership prices. We use genuine OEM parts, so your Mercedes gets the same quality of parts the dealer would fit. Our Al Quoz workshop runs 12 service bays with full diagnostic equipment, and we back our work with a service warranty. You also get a record of every job we carry out, free pickup and drop-off across Dubai, and a team that has looked after European cars here for over 30 years.
Most of our specialists are certified and have worked on German cars, and our General Manager brings over 30 years of trade experience from the UK. That is the same background as the person who would work on your Mercedes at the agency, in a workshop where you can speak to them directly.
10,000 sq ft in Al Quoz, with twelve service bays, each on its own vehicle lift, a dedicated engine room, and a rolling road. Software and hardware updates come directly from Germany, Italy, and England, which allows proper module access rather than generic scanning.
Our 2400hp 4WD Dyno-Dynamics rolling road records power, torque and driveability under load, before and after the work. Very few workshops in the region have one. On an AMG, a G-Class, or a car someone else has tuned, that is the difference between a verified repair and an opinion.
Suspension work, a respray, panel repair after a knock, or a full classic restoration all stay with one team on one job record. Your car isn't shuttled between a mechanic and a body shop on the other side of town, which matters most for the cars people intend to keep.
We document each visit and record parts and fluid specifications, so the history will stand up if you sell the car or return to the dealer. Quotes separate parts from labor; nothing begins without your permission, and if we discover something new, we call you before we touch it.
Most Mercedes jobs are decided before we even take the spanner out. We scan, test, and measure first, then tell you which component has indeed broken down and which one reacts to it. Each quotation we provide clearly separates parts from labor, and we do nothing without your approval.
On the V6 platforms, it is usually oil cooler seals, camshaft adjusters, and timing components. On the biturbo V8S, it is the turbo oil feed lines and heat management. We always identify the source of the problem before giving you a price for new seals, because leaking oil will burn on the hot exhaust well before it reaches the floor.
A fault code indicates where the car detected a fault, but not what caused it. We read every module, test with live data, and perform guided system tests before touching a part. Drivability faults are road tested with live log recording, allowing intermittent symptoms to be captured, not described.
A shunt into second gear or shuddering at 40-60 km/h may have five completely different reasons in the 722.9 or 725.0. Fluid levels, adaptation values, torque converter lockup, conductor plate, and the valve body have very different prices. We test-drive with actual data and check the fluid before giving a number.
An air fault may be a strut, the compressor, the valve block, a relay, or a level sensor, and the test determines whether the bill is four figures or five. We measure the ride height at all four corners and monitor the system as it fills and holds. ABC on the S-Class, CL, and SL is hydraulic and is treated as a separate system.
Cold while driving and warm when stopped is the issue we get called out for most from May to September. We check condenser airflow, cooling fans, compressor control, and charge, then leak-test instead of just regassing. The plastic housings and water pumps crack up from constant heating and cooling cycles, so we also inspect cooling alongside the AC.
Here, auxiliary battery life is cut in half, and a weak battery will generate multiple unrelated warnings. Test the voltage first so you don't spend money on modules that aren't defective. We fix 48V mild hybrid systems, charging and wiring issues, module communication, keyless go, and MBUX or COMAND diagnostics.
A wrong diagnosis is the most expensive thing that can happen to a Mercedes. The same warning can come from four different parts, so we follow a predetermined sequence and only quote when we can identify the part that actually failed.
We start with the model, year, mileage, and exactly what you noticed, because when a symptom comes up regularly, it may matter more than the fault code. Then we check every module, not only the engine ECU, and confirm from the VIN which functions we can perform on your vehicle.
Fault codes are symptoms, not diagnoses. We review live data while the system is operating, run guided tests, and inspect the part before determining it is faulty. For drivability problems, we take it for a road test with logging on so the data is recorded, not just guessed.
Both the failed part and the part that interacts with it can look similar in the scan results. We separate the two first, which explains why we may replace just one level sensor rather than four air struts. The quotations list parts and labor charges per item, and nothing starts until we get your approval.
After completion, we re-scan the system, reset service and adaptation values as needed for the job, and road-test against the original complaint. You get the car back with a short report on what we found, what we replaced, and what we'll watch.

Battery Inspection
This light indicates that one of the modules recorded a value outside its normal range, which could be a faulty sensor connection or a problem that needs immediate attention. The code pinpoints the issue; the live data confirms it. If the light is flashing and not steady, park and contact us immediately.
Low voltage from a weak main or auxiliary battery can prevent communication between modules. This is why other warnings from completely different systems appear on the dashboard at once. We test voltage and charging before replacing anything.
Classic symptoms of 7G and 9G transmission under light load. Fluid condition, adaptation values, torque converter lockup, and the valve body look identical from the driver's seat, but they're repaired very differently. A road test with real data is the key here.
This is often the first sign of an air suspension problem, and it's a cheaper issue to address. If one corner is lower, it may indicate a leaking strut, a poor valve block holding pressure, or a worn compressor. Left alone, the compressor will wear itself out while trying to compensate for the leak.
The complaint we hear most from May to September. It points to condenser airflow, a failing cooling fan, compressor control, or a charge that has quietly dropped, and it always worsens as summer goes on. An AC fault that only shows at idle is an early warning.
Plastic thermostat housings, expansion tanks, and water pumps harden and crack under constant heat cycling here, and a fan that has stopped running only shows itself when the car is stationary. Overheating is one of the few faults worth pulling over for rather than driving home on.
The most common Mercedes message in the UAE. Heat roughly halves auxiliary battery life compared with Europe, and a weak one can throw several unrelated warnings at once. On most models, you have to register the new battery so the charging system treats it correctly.
Oil reaching a hot exhaust component burns off before it ever reaches the ground, so the smell arrives months before the stain does. Likely sources include oil cooler seals on V6 platforms, turbo oil feed lines on biturbo V8s, or a valve cover gasket.
Along with Mercedes repair in Dubai, DAS Center also serves customers across other UAE locations.
