The BMW 4 Series Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe share their engines with the 3 Series, but each body brings its own work. The F33 Convertible folds a three-part metal roof into the boot, the G23 uses fabric, and the Gran Coupe adds a large tailgate. DAScenter has been a reputed, independent BMW 4 Series service center in Dubai for 30+ years. Here we read each BMW car on ISTA and share a transparent quote before any work starts.
BMW 4 Series repairs at DAScenter begin with an inspection and a written report. You approve the quote first, and if more work turns up along the way, we call you before going any further.
A BMW 4 Series car service in Dubai with us covers the oil, filters, brakes and fluids the car's CBS data calls for. We also check parts that matter on each body style, such as roof seals on the Convertible.
On the F33 hardtop we test the position sensors, relays, pump, hoses and cylinders, and on the G23 the fabric and its mechanism. After a repair, the roof is run through full cycles to confirm it opens and closes cleanly.
We replace N20 timing chain guides on early 420i and 428i cars and clean carbon from the intake valves of direct-injection engines that idle roughly. Every engine job ends with a road test before the car is handed back.
On the 440i and M440i we trace coolant loss to the vent hose or oil filter housing, and on the 435i we replace failed electric water pumps. The system is then refilled without trapped air and pressure tested.
Every automatic 4 Series uses a ZF 8-speed gearbox. We replace the pan, filter and seals, fill it with the correct fluid at the right temperature, and check the gearbox for stored faults on ISTA before the road test.
The M440i, and many 2024 facelift models, use a 48V mild hybrid with a second battery and a starter-generator. We test both batteries, register replacements to the car and diagnose faults in the 48V system.
Car problems are stressful. We keep things simple. First, we listen to what you notice.
Call, WhatsApp, or use the quick form. Tell us the model, year, and what you notice.
1We perform a 360° health check and share a clear quote. No work starts without your go-ahead.
2We repair the fault, road-test the car, and hand it over clean with a short report.

We use genuine or OE-grade parts to protect performance and resale value.
Most 4 Series faults here trace back to three things: cabin and engine bay temperatures that never really drop in summer, fine sand and dust working into seals, and a roof mechanism that can stop midway. A BMW 4 Series service center with the right software can tell a failed part from a faulty sensor.
The three-part metal roof relies on position sensors, relays and a hydraulic pump. A failed sensor, a wet relay or a leaking hose can stop it mid-cycle with a roof warning. We read the roof module's fault codes first.
Blocked roof drains let water collect in the boot, where it can reach the relays that run the roof. Damp carpets and a roof that will not move are the signs. We clear the drains and test the relays.
The G23's soft top is lighter than the old hardtop, but fabric is more open to tears, and strong sun and sand are hard on it. We inspect the fabric, seals and mechanism, then repair or replace what is damaged.
F32 models built before the 2016 update use the N20 engine, whose plastic timing chain guides wear with age. A few seconds of rattle after a cold start is the warning. We check chain stretch before it causes harm.
Direct-injection engines such as the N20, N55 and B48 build up carbon on the back of the intake valves, as fuel no longer washes them clean. Rough idle and misfires follow. We confirm the cause, then clean the valves.
On the B58 six-cylinder, a brittle plastic coolant vent hose and the oil filter housing gasket are common leak points. A sweet coolant smell or low coolant warning appears first. We pressure test to find which one is leaking.
